October 2011 Mobile SolutionIn response to growing demand from customers we have made our first release of a Tablet based application which provides project managers with functions required in the field - Crew Timesheets, Site Diary, Plant Utilisation, Supplier Docket Entry, Purchase Orders. Additional functions such as Client Variations, Sub Contractor Works Orders, Production Measures, Snag Lists will be added in the coming months. The Microsoft web technology we are using operates in Windows Explorer, Android and Mac Safari browser environments.
September 2011 User Defined Fields User Defined Fields can now be added to masterfiles - the standard data types are supported including Numeric, Date, Text. These fields can be validated against either a defined list of values or records in a related table. Different sets of UDF's can be presented according to a specified property of the masterfile record e.g. Job Type.
June 2011 New Version of Web Timesheet and Expense Claim Released Our new version of Web Timesheets and Expense Claims is now released. This development has been the catalyst for migrating from the older ASP environment to the latest Microsoft web technology (ASP.NET, .NET Framework 4.0, MVC2.0, Entity Framework) which provides improved performance, more rigorous security and a richer user interface. We have taken this opportunity to make a number of significant functional enhancements which include Multi-Company and Multi-Currency entries from a single Timesheet or Expense Claim.

Feb 2011 Multi-Language Released For clients operating in Europe and South America we are pleased to release multi-language capability into Workbench. Any number of translations can exist within a single implementation with each user having a default language setting. The same technique applies to customers wishing to change default field names.
